EVA Air, Taiwan’s leading independent airline, saw its first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner take its maiden flight from Hong Kong to Taipei on November 1 2018. The airline celebrated the milestone with a special launch event at Taoyuan International Airport, Taipei. Passengers on the inaugural flight were invited to take selfies and keepsake photos in front of a Dreamliner-themed banner and share smiles with family and social media friends before boarding the brand-new aircraft.
